I just got the same call from my a 911 number they left a message - he was trying very hard to hide his accent as he had to talk very slowly - telling me to turn myself in as I have a warrant out against me - As I know the detectives and a number of Police officers in our local department I called them and asked if there was anyone in the department with these names and if these two gentleman were new to the department. So Officer Lee Schandler and Thomas O'Brien do not exist in my local department. AND THIS IS A SCAM!!! BEWARE!!! I gave this number to my local police and sheriff department: 347-418-0373
I got the exact same call. said she's calling from CA and leaves a San Antonio TX number telling me to turn myself in to local Sheriff's office. I got another call from a similar sounding person couple weeks ago saying they are from IRS and i am under investigation!
