Received a call from this number for my 75yo father. He gave the same lame excuse for calling..."civil lawsuit...blah blah...he needs to call back (877-674-0276) within an hour to stop papers from being served". I asked what company he was calling from and he said "a private locating service". I told him sure, I'll give him the message. Scam. Thanks to everyone who reports this!

a #877-674-0276 and a file #. She told me he needs to call her w/in one hour. He did and its a total scam
Someone called here looking for my 74 year old father, who doesn't live with me, saying that a civil lawsuit had been filed on him and that he needed to be available to accept papers. I called my dad and gave him the information and he said they had already called him and he called the number given to him...they wanted his social security number to verify it was him and until he verified it they wouldn't tell him what it was about. He told them that he smelled a scam and told them where to step off. He's a feisty man when need be lol. He pays all of his bills on time so it can't be a bill collector. I think he is right and it is a scam of some sort.

Someone called said they were looking for my dad said legal action was taken on him ask how they got my number said his references told them my dad has even died for alot of years she didn't want to talk anymore after that I want to know how she got my dad's name and my number
