Same jerks that have been harassing me since the beginning of the year. They call from different numbers, each time a different company name calling regarding a FAKE COLLECTION DEBT.
DO NOT VERIFY ANY INFORMATION, INCLUDING YOUR NAME!!
Block the number and report them to your local AG's office and the CFPB.
Report the number on here so someone else will know these guys are scammers.
They will eventually stop calling and in a couple months call from a different company name and phone number. However, they leave the exact same robo message (same claim number too).
Do not engage them; it will increase the frequencies of the calls. Eventually they will realize that they will not get anywhere with you and stop calling (for a couple of months).
They have been calling me from different numbers since January. It did stop for a few months and it's started back up again. I was told that they tend to do this more around the holidays. They have called my family members as well asking for me. I have seen this happen to others that I personally know and I am not answering calls from this number. Thank you for posting. I was told by an attorney that if something was owed that it would have to be sent through the mail not a phone call. It would also be on my credit report. I can't believe these people can sleep at night taking advantage of others like this. So disgusting..
Called me again leaving a message they have some suit pending and leaving a claim number or something. Never even mentions company name. PLEASE block their number and let everyone else know they are indeed nothing but scam artists.
