Caller claimed to be from the IRS.

Missed calls today at 11:34AM EST and 2:59PM EST.  Automated message to return call - no information, just the phone number. I returned call.  The lady on the phone said she was with the Internal Revenue Service and the call was regarding a law suit being filed against me by the Internal Revenue Service.  I refused to give her my information.  Clearly phishing scam to gather names and SSN information.

Clearly a scam due to the fact the irs does not make calls----do not fall for this.

Don't be alarmed. Relax. This is apparently a scam that is common during tax season. You can actually go on YouTube if they left you a voicemail and here the same voicemail.

Called stating they were with the IRS and I was being sued. Told them I'm a lawyer, they hung up very quickly.
