At first I thought they were just another boiler room. Then I realized what wonderful people they are and how thoughtful they were when they did the work for me. They can call me anytime. The people who criticize legitimate telemarketers don't realize how much commerce is moved by them. Maybe the critics should get off their lazy butts and check it out.
Caller asked how many windows we had, and if they were original windows. Told caller we were on the do not call list. Caller then
hung up. This has happened at least once a day over the past two weeks.
Received my first call from these scumbags. Of course I'm on the "Do not call registry". Of course I didn't answer the call, but my machine picked it up and they hung up. Of couse I live in an apartment so I have no use for any of their crap. One more of course: I blocked their number and reported the violation, not that it will do any good.
Caller left message saying legal action would be taken against me and to dial 202-506-9835. I called and person stated they were from IRS. They went on about allegations against me. I said what was going on! The person (female with a foreign accent) acted surprised like I was supposed to know! Seems to me like the IRS is professional enough to send me a letter about any problems. I told her you're trying to scam me and hung up!
