Just called at 429PM. Recorded male voice said he was a retired Texas Ranger and was encouraging me to vote for Sid Hall for some judge position in the upcoming election. I don't think Sid Hall is even on the ballot in this area.
Just looked at the sample ballot for my area. The candidate's name is Sid Harle. He is running for court of appeals judge in Place 5. That retired Texas Ranger on the recording should take the chaw out of his mouth so he can be understood.
Bigtex is exactly right. The "ranger" spoke in such a mush-mouthed way on phonemail that I could not determine what judge he wanted me to vote for. I wanted to know so I could be sure to vote against the guy. Total waste of his time to have such a stupid phone campaign.
