Received the same call from "Rebecca" threatening me. I tried calling them back from a different number and when I asked for Rebecca and the name/address of their company, I was hung up on.
I received a call today from this number and the caller failed to leave a message. It should be noted that this is an "Unknown Caller" with Texas area code. I do not know anyone in Texas. I do not accept calls from Unknown Callers, Private Numbers or Unwanted Callers. Due to the great number of scam, I elected to block this and other calls like it. I'm vstill dealing with the knucklehead that that calls from the 876 area code in Jamaica that still calls despite the fact that his calls are being blocked. ...but that is a story in itself. So as far as I am cconcerned, it can't be important simply because a message was not left... This caller can speak with "Mr Dial Tone" too. Lol!!!
I did the same thing with the other number they called from - put it on my call reject list. when they call it automatically goes busy........life is good
Called saying they are from the law office of Philip Morris... Ran a reverse number lookup and nothing shows up, also the law office that has that name only operates in Texas and I have not lived there in 10+ years, not to mention their number is different then this one. Saving the msg to file a report later. Definitely seems like a scam.
I also got a call saying my husband, who is very sick, made a payday lone in 2012, they had all my husbands info, I had the bank send me every month from my bank account from the year 2012...................its a fraud, I knew it was, I may be old but I know what im doing.....................what a bunch of creeps, I wish police could do something about this
