I got a call from this number saying that I was going to recieve $500 for the next six months from the federal government as a tax refund. He said all I had to do was give him my bank account name and my account number. He new my full name and my address. I knew better than to give my account number, but still it was kind of scary that he already had my full name, address and phone number. He had a foriegn address and was very hard to understand.
We keep getting calls from this number regarding a debt for more than 10 years ago. We keep telling them not to call. He (Mark Robinson)yelling and harrassing us. By law, they are to stop calling once we request it.
I did not answer this call. My caller ID said #210-693-0814 but being a "Private Call". Do not have plans to answer this call. Our number is on the "no call list" & we have no past due debts anyway; so, they are wasting their time and if keep calling we will have the call traced for harrassment anyway from the phone co. It is a win - win for us.
I received a phone call from these people today telling me that i won a digital camera and a free vacation. he said that all i had to do was pay $1.95 for s&h. he told me that he needed my account number. i asked him if i could pay with a debit card (not yet knowing that is was a fraud) and he said they only accept account numbers. when my husband told him no, he told him to stick his bank account information up his [***]. he went by the name of Richard Suzuki.
I just got a call (5:27 PM, March 10, 2008) from some dude with a foreign accent saying he sees that 'I owe more than $10,000 on your credit card'. I said...'NO, I don't'...he says 'you don't?'...to which I responded, 'NO, I don't even HAVE a credit card!' He said.....'oh, OK, thank you' and hung up. I live in the 210 area code. Give me a break. Does the Do Not Call list work??? Apparently NOT! I've been getting a bunch of junk calls lately. I am SO sick of it!
