How are you going to collect from India, Russia, Khazakstan, etc.? These people have no interest
in anything except getting your financial information and ripping you off. The only possible way to get back
at them is to waste their time by giving them fake info. Speak slowly, too, and sound like you're really old.
DON'T threaten, or cuss, just give false info, would be my personal opinion of a way of getting back....
I got a call tonight from this same #....they actually left me a voice mail on my machine...my number is unlisted and im on the National Do Not Call List.....why are they allowed to call?
Especially when you tell them you do not want to be called any further...does anyone have any ideas?
I am going to figure out who and where they are. They have called me 8 times, all after 8 PM. I too have an unlisted number and am on the do not call list. Yet, they seem secure in the idea that they can do what they damn well please.
So, when I track the suckers down, I'm invoicing them for each of the calls and charging a penalty for the last 7 calls - made after I instructed them to NEVER call me again. If they do not pay my invoice, I will take them to small claims court and collect.
They are using my infrastructure to conduct their business. They do NOT have permission to use my infrastructure.
Also, consider answering or calling back to answer their survey and skew their data (unless this is some boring touchtone, multiple choice). Most ridiculous answers wins. Post it here.
I caution people that want to call them back...the problem is that YOU have initiated the contact, and they can call you at anytime, since it was YOU that contacted them. Plus, they can then sell you name and number as a "proven" contact. That is how these companies make tons of money, reselling contact lists.
