Received a call from "Jennifer" That I had a fraud case opened against me by the state. When I asked her what state she said "the one you live in" When I said what state is that she said "I know and you know know so let's not play stupid." She proceded to get nastywith me and I cussed her OUT! Total scam!
I just received a message from this number, they did not state who the call was for or what it was in regards to, just that I needed to call them today because a fraudulent check charge was placed against me with my state. She ended it with, "If you do not call today then good luck." A debt collector is supposed to state whom they are calling and what they are calling about.
You know it is a scam to extort money from you - caller does not name you or the state. IF you were to be served, you would receive written notice, not an out of the blue phone call from someone who gives no information or a company name. The call ends with "good luck" - how professional??!!??
Company is a scam. Today I received a message saying they had a bad check and like everyone else they said good luck and that they needed to hear from me by the end of the day I called in because I have had my identity stolen and I wanted to clear up anything I have a case filed so I thought maybe this was something else that the criminals that stole my identity are doing well the women that left the message was Jennifer page when I called in Nancy Blackwell answered and said Jennifer was her assistant and if I had spoke to her I said no I just missed your call she then asked for my phone number which she said she needed so she could look in her system for me and then told me I had a bad check in their office from Wells Fargo I immediately stopped her and asked why haven't I been informed in writing or by my bank since I bank with Wells Fargo? She couldn't answer that and told me to shut up and listen I told her that my identity has been stolen a report has been made and I've been banking with Wells Fargo for some years now and I have never written a check in my lifetime she then again got vulgar with her words told me to shut up and since I'm not being compliant she'd file the paper work and hang up when I called back I got Rebecca on the phone whom sounded just like Nancy and asked to speak to Nancy she said ok transferred me to some man who said hello and immediately hung up and when I called back there was no answer I've tried to call several times and they will not answer my calls now I did mention to "nancy" that I'm sure she's just a scam mer because she very unprofessional and after telling her I need her company's name and the check information so I could let my police department know that there's more evidence she quickly said I was uncompliant and hung up.
Scam. I too have received several calls from this number, Jennifer Page, saying similar things to the above messages, including that a case has been submitted against me through the state. I did not call back. I bank with Wells Fargo as well, wonder if there has been a leak. I received similar calls from number 320-626-1046, also notes on this website about this number. See the notes for number 320-626-1046, very helpful. Probably using a new number, same scam, to collect money from people for "loans" by using threats.
