Who called from 2108073262

Said they were from Microsoft about my WIndows computer.  I asked him the name of the computer and the IP address, he said that is personal and not giving that, so I said the call was not legit.  He started saying something, so I broke in and said without the name of the computer and the IP address, then he is a scam and the number is being reported, he hung up.

Called me, no one there except faint noise, sounded like a but call

block this number. these people have been around for some time. how are they allowed to continue?

Because they are using computers to alter their identities and locations, making them next to impossible to trace and prosecute.

Said they were from Microsoft about my Windows computer.  I asked him the name of the computer and the IP address, he said the one with the recent update. I replied I have 7 computers, all are recently updated - which IP address is he referring to that is allegedly sending out an error message to him. He said "I believe you to be lying to me" I hung up.
