Received call this morning and was asked for by name. Told it was the Medical Compensation Department and was informed that I was owed money because I had taken blood thinners. Caller had a heavy accent. When asked what company he worked for, he stated that he worked for the Medical Compensation Department and there office was "in Atlanta city in Georgia. ( Funny since the phone number they are using is a San Antonio, Texas number) I informed the caller I never have taken blood thinners, he immediately hung up. Tried to call the number back and received an error message stating the number was not in service. Obvious scam.
