Received two calls today on my landline from this number. I answered first call, but caller hung up. I did not hear a second call that came in within the same minute (at 1:31pm). Did not use phone until again until after 9pm and discovered that line appeared to be dead, but that battery indicator on phone showed two bars down! After pressing the "off" button, phone was again usable. Problem: At this time, I don't know if my phone line was being used during the "down" period, and if so for what purpose! Will try to contact my carrier to see if any unusual charges have been added to my account.
Called my land line and hung up, leaving no message. Probably a scammer. They have learned that people tend to answer calls from their own area code, so they are using spoofed local numbers. I am in the process of switching my contacts to my cell number so I can remove my land line. Sad situation.
Got two calls from this number today, within the same minute! First call said (on Caller ID) that it was NTL Energy. Call hung up after 1 or 2 rings, & immediately after that a second call came in from same number, but was only identified as San Antonio, TX. No message left.
