The call I received was from a blocked number. The caller left a voice mail stating that his name was Tim Collins calling regarding information forwarded for Los Angeles County. He stated that "we" are being asked to serve final paperwork for the close out of this matter and its very important that yourself or your attorney make contact out to the filling party regarding document number blah blah blah. At this time if we do not receive a stop order from the filing party, we will be asked to issue someone out to your residence, as well as your place of business. Then he advised me to call 213-261-0582. Do not fall for these scams! What horrible people!
"Yeah, this message is for XXXXX XXXXXX. This is Lisa Williams. I'm contacting you in regards to court documents I received here in my office this morning. I need for you or your attorney to contact me immediately. We need to obtain a final statement before this case is forwarded over to Alameda County Court. I can be reached directly at 213-261-0582. My extension is 114."
At least it was a real person with an American accent. Still, I have no idea what this is about. They left no business name, no reference number, no nothing.
