I have read to never to answer any question with a "yes", because later that recording of your acknowledgement may reedited and used without your permission as your acknowledgement for something that costs you money.
Because you're probably more honest than the scammers calling you it's likely you won't have a recording of your original call to dispute your side of the story.
Yet another call from "Florida Getaways! ", a company I've never done business with them and never well. Didn't seem happy that when I told them that my number was on the NATIONAL DO NO CALL LIST.
An apparent robocall from this Los Angeles VOIP number was received today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. This is the usual behavior of robocallers -- i.e. illegal telemarketers -- against whom the Do Not Call law is useless.
Several posters report this is a "free" vacation scam, based in Florida. As parts of Florida have been labeled by the CDC as having Zika virus-infected mosquitoes, no doubt folks are eager to vacation in paradise!!!
According to www.whitepages.com this number is described as "suspected spam." I'm soooooooooo surprised!!!
