just got a call from this number, talk so fast i could barely make out what the lady was saying, anyway she said she was calling on behalf of LLS and she needed to set up delivery of some documents that were signed for on my visa. ha ha NOT. never heard of you. its a scam!!
Received a phone call today with "no caller ID" I answered it ONLY because my daughters boyfriends number dials in this way... anyways. It was 2:20 pm. I answered the phone, it was a guy who did not introduce himself and if he did he talked so fast that i didn't catch it. He stated that I needed to call 213 267 4420 Berg & Associates with in two hours, as I am being sued and that I ONLY have two hours. He stated that he attempted to deliver paper about the suit and has been unable to contact. I stated "wait, what are you talking about" he stated, oh you didnt know you were being sued? He then stated my first name and asked me if that was correct before i answered he begin telling me my last four digits of my social, and then he stated "ya its you" call Berg & assiociates now at 213 267 4420 right away so this doesnt become any more trouble for you. When I tried to ask him what this was about, he spoke over me and stated that "he cant go into it over the phone, but if i dont call, i could suffer from the consiquece of losing the case"
I looked up the number, and saw things similar to this issue above but none with this number and none that stated it was a no caller ID that Called them. Also I called the number and it directs me to a voicemail of which a woman states Berg and asscoiates please leave a message and I will call you back.
What the heck is happening?? Is this a scam? I think it is.
What was the result? I just got the same call. I got the no caller id and then I called the Berg & Associates number and spoke to a Renee. Talked about an old bank account I use to have and that I was being sued by the bank. Said they sent a letter 2 months ago but I never got one. Said I would be summoned within the next few days.

Received a call from the same people, called the number they left it was Berg and associates. They never returned my call, so I am not sure what this is about. Now reading these comments I believe this is fishing and agree this is a scam
My dad called me around 10:00 am Thursday May 14. He said that a woman that did not leave her name only the 213-267-4420 number had left a message on his land line machine. She talked very fast speaking of trying to get a hold of me about some kind of car delivery. He had listened to the message several times, had me and my wife listen to the message and the only thing we could make out was possibly an auto loan that I supposedly had several years ago. She even gave a license plate number but after further discussing it with my wife we both came to the conclusion that a plate number is not 26429019IN. DUH!!!! I called the number back got this is Berg and Associates please leave a message and I will call you back. I left a message but after a few minutes I called back and talked to this woman that claimed I had an outstanding credit card loan from Credit Loan Bank in 2006. OK? I am disabled and have a hard time speaking so I handed my wife the phone and the woman told her that I had received court papers to an old address and since I had paid on the loan for a year and a half they would either settle for a one time payment of $811.07 or $383.33 for six months. My wife told her that she and I would have to discuss it and that she would call back the next day with our decision. My wife then asked for her name and she said her name was Renee Johnson.
Here's the thing. The woman talked very fast. The woman had a buzzy phone. The woman did not introduce herself at the beginning of the phone conversation or on the message. The woman did not have my current phone number. The woman did not have my current address. The woman couldn't make up her mind if I had a credit card debt or an auto loan debt. Seriously??? This is definately a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
