These people are scammers. They WILL NOT stop calling you unless you harrass them back. Call them several dozen times in a row and make it a joke about anything. That's what my husband did. We finally got them to admit that they were scammers and we were too smart for them to figure it out. But they also admitted that most people are bumd and fall for their scam.
Answered this call, woman on the other end with a thick accent said she was calling from Technocura (took me forever to understand her on this word) and said something to the effect that my computer was full of viruses and they were getting a lot of complaints about malicious activity originating from my computer and they would need to fix it, or some such thing. I told her "This is a scam" and hung up. Then checked them out on line and my instincts were good. They'll come up with some story to get you to turn over control of your computer to them remotely, then charge you $299 for "clean-up" services of viruses or whatever. And who knows what else they'll do with the information they're able to take from your computer. Do not let them scare you or talk you into letting them take control of your computer -- you will surely rue the day you did.
