I also got a call from this number but they didn't leave a message. It displayed on the phone as FOP LA.

I recieved a call from this phone stating they were collecting money for the police department

My caller ID shown "FOP LA" and I didn't pick it up.  They didn't even leave a message on my answering machine.

I receive calls from them about once a week, they always ask for my husband and will not tell me what it is for when I ask. They also say it is for collecting money for the police department. When asked to send there information in the mail though, they always back out. Sounds kinda fishy to me!
