Got two calls but did not answer either one as I have dealt with these guys before. Scam artist, under the guise of the police fund and who wouldn't want to help the police, at least if you are an honest citizen. The police do NOT solicit money by calling around. Additionally these people are rude if you challenge them.
My advice should you answer the phone is to simply hang up. They won't get the feelings hurt as they are scammers.
FOP LA = Fraternal Order of Police Los Angeles. Want donations for police "brotherhood" They say that that are non-profit. However, can not find on any charity list that I looked up.
