This company called saying they were from California State Atorney's office. He said his name is Curtis Jackson. He has a very thick accent which was my first sign this was a fraudulent call. He said he was representing Cash Advance and they were sueing me for $648.00. When I started to ask questions and told him I was going to report him he hung up.
I got a call today from this number. The man had a very very thick middle eastern accent. He said his name was Ricky Martin. The first thing he said to me was he asked "do you have an attorney on retainer", which is yes for now..then he said that he was representing the California State attorney's office and he had a judgment against me for a certain amount..(i cant remember what he said it was) and that it was being filed against me from Cash Advance USA. I told him I didn't understand him very well, and I asked him how he got my information. I do have a payday loan, but though another company and all is well there. I asked to speak to someone I can understand. He told me to call back the number, it took me several tries and while calling him back, he left a message on my voice mail that I should call the number or I would be very sorry. I finally called and got Curtis Jackson on the phone who told me they were gonna send me police and take me to jail or before the court in California...ha! What a fraud. DO NOT SEND THESE IDIOTS MONEY OR TAKE THEIR THREATS TO HEART! I Report these scammers for the liars and cheats that they are!
I keep getting calls from the same number (213-293-8175) asking for my uncle (by name). Same thick, middle eastern accent. Today his name is John Ross, last week it was "something" Wilson. He didn't even say who he was representing. Left a message saying something about a "time-sensitive" matter and if he did not hear back from my uncle or his attorney, then the only thing he could do was wish my uncle well. What a crack-pot! Don't give out any information or send money to these SCAMMERS!
I got a call from this number 2132978175 with a thick accent say his name was mark something and he was representing cash advance and the I was be sueing me for an amount of money he didnt say how much I have a loan through another copy not cash advance when I the told him that and told him off he hung up
Receive another call from this number 213-293-8175 FRAUD BIG FRAUD. When I call back I get a busy signal because I'm calling from my work number that is the federal government.
