How did you get them to stop pulling money from your checking? They have hit me 5 times in 2 weeks my account is overdrawn still because of this Unemployement does even pay the bills!
Go to your credit union/bank and change your account completely, if you have direct deposits, immediately change those too. It was so easy to do, and it gave us peace of mind that we were back in control, now they have to work on our terms. They forced us to do this, but I am glad we did. Now, this may not be good for everyone, but it worked for me.
They just calle me, too. I have closed my account and no other transactions are being allowed to them or anyone else. I opened a new account and changed my direct deposit to the new account. I sent them an e-mail and told them I was no longer allowing them access to my account. I guess they don't believe me.
I have also been meeting with a financial counselor. He has told me that 70% of collection agency calls are originating from Buffalo, NY and they are prison inmates making the calls. He says that is why they are so mean. He told me this so that I would know who I was dealing with.
Be Very careful of this compay. I set up payment arragements through emails, with payment date and amount. I am now be harrassed by this company to get a Money card to pay them with. I am now being told that payment with a Money Order does not count. This compay now wants me to pay a extra fee to get a Money Card so they can be paid thay way. I agreed to pay and I am paying. Calls keep coming. Yesteray they made a threat that if I did not give them a Money Card number they would sell my account to a 3rd party, and trouble would really begin then. Be aware.
