this person called stated she was from the internal revenue service. called id showed from California. all the correspondences i received from IRS was from Kansas . has anyone else received calls as well.It also sounded like it was script read and did give name she was calling for. she wanted attorney of records to call. iot sounded like a woman from India.
I just checked my messages & there was a call from this number & message saying they were with the internal revenue service & said I needed to return the call before action was taken against me. When I attempted to call the number back (several times) the recorded message came on & said that "the number could not be completed as dialed please check the number & try again". Anyone know who this is or what they are really calling about? Please, any help will be appreciated.
they were trying to get money from you. i had asked where they were calling from. they replied Los Vegas. i replied there no IRS in Los Vegas. told them to quit scamming me. they probably needed gambling money.
Called twice left same, poor quality, buzzy message saying IRS was going to take action. I barely make 24k a year, there is not much to take. They can F off!
