•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.
Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
Call from a man with heavy Indian accent claiming to be from the IRS. Told me I am involved with fraud. He couldn't even pronounce the words right. I hung up, he called back again and I then blocked his number.
This jerk called and said the IRS is auditing me and someone will be at my door in and hour to arrest me for fraud and tax evasion. When I asked for his physical address I could hear him typing. He apparently looked up the REAL IRS address. I am embarrassed that I let him threaten me for as long as I did. So when he said I could settle out of court I asked him to repeat how much that would cost and he gave me a different number. His Indian accent is a dead giveaway. JERK!!!

Man called and said was with the Audit Serviced for IRS, and a federal tax attorney, said my wife was going to be arrested cause the tax return was incorrect.
