I just had a call from this numer 231-631-0182 they say it was from a lawfirm in LA and that they need it to speek to my husband for a count order and I need to give them a call back to a 1855-number did not got it all I was driveing and they gave me a reference number and that they needed to speek to us regarding a claim and to send a court order to us. So I got home and look up that number and it was from a shoe store and I call back and no one answere.
Your caller is a scammer - if there was a court order of any kind, your husband would have received it via certified mail. If he had a court summons, he'd receive it via process server (or in some cases, certified mail). The point being, you don't get a call about an alleged court order, and lawyers do not call you - they, again, mail correspondence. Good for you for investigating the number - you found out that your callers had "spoofed" a shoe store number.
