Geez isn't life stressful enough without another idiot calling from a no name number and then
the robot hangs up! I think it's someone calling from a computer like the 760 numbers.
Received a call from this number on SUNDAY, Feb. 26, 2012 at 11:34am. When I answered the phone, there was a long silence, then a computer voice said goodlbye...
Received call at 10 am, last Friday. Caller announced himself as John from Home Improvement Services. Stated they were looking for work in our area. Asked where he was located, he answered that his company was headquartered in Los Angeles. Asked if they had offices in Ventura county, he said, "No, but we do work out of our San Fernando Valley location." I played along as if I were interested. John (or whatever his real name was) explained that they were part of the Gold Remodeling Co. Asked why he called me, as my number is on the "Do Not Call Registry." He told me he didn't care. I said, "You're violating the law." His response: "Well what do you know?", and hung up.
Automated, unsolicited call ......... again. I filed a complaint with the national do-not-call registry....again. If thousands of people complain, maybe they will actually do something. These people need to have their dumb privacy-invading computer smashed and then the government needs to throw the owners in jail. They probably wouldn't be able to violate our right to privacy if they are in jail.
