1. The IRS does not call taxpayers as a first step to let them know a lawsuit has been filed, or is about to be filed. Before any lawsuit is filed, many notices and letters would have been received, and upon finally filing a lawsuit, proper legal papers would be served on the defendant via Sheriff Deputy or Certified Mail. The IRS may we corrupt and weaponized under the current administration, but they still pretend to follow the law, and phoning me to tell me they have filed a lawsuit against me is not following the law.
2. The IRS does not use wireless phones to call taxpayers. Therefore, "Wireless Caller" is a spoofed Caller ID.
This is obviously a complete scam, just another idiotic, criminal scammer wanting to sell... whatever the ripoff du jour is today.
As a side note, why isn't "Scammer" listed in this website's "Call Type" drop-down menu?
