this is a scam with Mary Kay Consultants. the lady's name is Caroline she or he is posing as being deaf. and they want to place an order for daughter's wedding. they want to text you orders. then they want to send money orders or mail you a check and you cash it and then you loose money.
I received the exact same information from this person! Same name, story, everything. I told them I could only accept credit cards for orders this large and they told me that was a problem and that they only use checks. The easiest way for me to tell that this person wasn't deaf was because I am an American Sign Language student and know how deaf people write/talk and she wrote like an english speaking person. What an awful thing to do to people.
I just received a text message from this phone number as well. Same story everything. Good thing I looked it up. I had a feeling it was fraud. She did not have a similar area code. Why would you order Mary Kay from a consultant that lives no where near? Anyway, problem solved. Thanks!
When I asked her why she didn't ask a local person, she told me the wedding was out near me. Good story, but why would it need to be near me when she only ordered things like lip primer, mascara and empty compacts? Made no sense
