for the last few weeks I have been getting BS calls about car/health insurance I never requested. Been getting calls like this and now it is getting annoying and very frustrating. this one in particular is very rude...I answer, then 5 seconds of silence, so I said "this is getting annoying and you are probably just going to hang up and call back 20 more times today" I got a "ha" and hang up as a response. Called the number back, 20 seconds of no ring, then "we are unable to complete your call" On the DNC list, but I guess that means absolutely nothing anymore.
Did not leave a message. I always call back so I can harass them. Was asked if I was still interested in affordable health insurance. Slight? chance it is a legitimate call center. Did not respond to my anger about being called like the scammers usually do, was polite, so I just said don't call me any more and blocked the number.
Yeah well, good ol Obama made his "affordable" ins. between $400-$600 per month in California, so I can't wait until that's dismantled. This number is from a solicitor and I screen calls and simply deleted the voice mail.
Are you sure you really want to go back to our previous health plan situation, where pre-existing conditions were not covered? The real problem with our overall health system is the 20%++ from the premiums which goes to the bureaucracies at the insurance companies. The insurance companies have been running "death squads" for decades before Obamacare, and the best way to make sure we have enough troops in Afghanistan is to take all insurance company employees and send them to the front lines.
I know many very conservative people who, by virtue of working with the health insurance system, have come to the realization that single-payer is the only fiscally viable way to provide affordable healthcare to United States citizens.
The problem is not Obamacare, but rather the extremely expensive insurance company bureaucracy that more often than not is set up to deny coverage to persons needing their medical bills to be paid. And are you aware that at least 50% of the individual bankruptcies in the USA result from job loss/medical bills?
