Call originates as a recording informing me I can lower my credit card rates and push 1 to be connected to be connected to an operator. Operator picks up, with a thick Eastern European accent, confirms I want to lower my rates, confirms I have one or more cards totaling over $3,500 and tells me I am qualified. Spoke with "Carmen Brown" with "Financial Advisor Services" at extension 274. I managed to keep her on the phone over 5 minutes without giving or confirming any information. She finally hung up when I continued asking for her number so I could call her back in case I was disconnected. Call has a solid busy signal.
These are fraudulent calls most likely used to steal your identity. Do not give them any information and best not to do anything. Simply selecting "9" to be removed from their list does the opposite, confirming this is a valid number that then gets sold or passed on to other scammers.
