This number called my cell phone and said that I was approved for a federal grant for 5,200$ The man sounded like he was in India and could not answer my questions, I was told that to redeem the money I needed to go to a Western Union and call a different number, I called that number and told them I was at the Western Union (I wasn't) and asked what the wanted me to do, he said open an account and deposit 312$, that the amount would be unique to me so that they could identify me and would send me a check within 4 minutes of the deposit, I told them I didn't have 312$, he asked me when I'd have the money, said I didn't know and asked him to email me (he had my email address and said that I had applied for the grant dec. 10, 2009). He said he was with the Federal Grant Bureau, and that the money was coming from the Red Cross, that agency doesn't exist and the Red Cross doesn't give grants through a person in India from a Western Union store. Obviously he had gotten some of my information from somewhere, but this is obviously a SCAM BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!
