ROBO CALLS: Each area code has 9,999,999 numbers. Add 800 possible area codes. The program starts calling every number that it can in succession. So they don't need to buy or obtain lists from anyone so DNC does not work. The authorities can not or will not help either.

Not only that but reputable charitable organizations don't solicit donations by phone.
So it's good advice to remember to just say no to anyone who solicits over the phone unless you actually personally know the person calling.
