I received a call on Sunday afternoon. It was very combative when I started to ask Sandy ("the supervisor" in customer service) the hard questions. Her number (as shown on caller ID is 239-205-4713). the number of the Dispute Dept she gave me as 1-800-691-0001.
I have not ordered magazines from them. I have other magazine subscriptions, but they could not identify any magazines when pressed for information (the story changed from magazines I have been receiving to magazines I am going to receive). They said I would be charging me "only" $29.99 (a discount from $59.99) for 20 months. Baloney!
They call to tell you you owe money for magazines you ordered. The give you the first and last number of the credit card and won't give you any more information. They end up yelling and become very mean and nasty. When you ask for a supervisor the same mean and nastiness happens again. Watch out the have your address, which is ment to trip you up. Be aware.

Received call from 239-205-4713, Mr. Lopez stated he was calling from the Reader's Service regarding my magazines. He proceeded to tell me I have an automatic renewal on my account for my magazines. I told him no I do not. I said you are full of BS. He said it's fine because I can turn it off. I said what magazines do I receive? He said it's fine, I don't have to have the renewal. I said I know the exact years of my magazines becuz I check the boxes for 1 year or 2 yrs. I asked him 3 times, which magazines do I receive. He then hung up on me.
