Finally decided to answer this one and get it over with - they've been calling for weeks. Basically "If you were lied to about your timeshare purchase, I'm an attorney who'll litigate for you..." blah, blah, blah. I pressed 8 to remove my name from the list, hoping that works. I've never owned a timeshare but am pretty sure I know which Cancun hotel we stayed at put my name on a list. [grrr] It'll never end...
why would someone call you with information that is suppose to be private and offer you service that they shouldn't know about at this time. Only one other person should know what I was going to do and they called before the letter of cancellation got to the company. They asked me to mash #8 on my phone if I didn't need the service. I didn't remember that on television it is said that it is a scam to mash any number and I need to know who called me.
