I got a call and an e-mail from this "company". If you ever dealt with Cash Net USA, or some other payday loan company, this is the reason why they are calling. I live in Pennsylvania where the Governor and State Attorney General made "Payday Loans" illegal, and nullified any debt from such "Payday Loan" companies. There are other states who have done the same thing. Check your state laws. You just might be in luck.

As for this company doing the "collecting", they have been calling me for years. First from California area codes, then Washington State, then Ohio and now Florida. They seem to call every 6 to 10 months at random. Their collecting efforts are clearly against the law. However, the more concerning issue is these individuals have our personal information, social security number, etc. Companies like Cash Net USA sold off the bad debt to third party collection agencies, who sold them to other junk debt buyers like these Indian jerks. I am exploring a class action lawsuit against whoever is responsible for selling off the debt to unqualified individuals. This is supposed to be a regulated industry, which as we have found out, looks like there is no oversight. These Indian guys now identified themselves as "ACS Inc." - the company that manages student loans. It's a total scam and we need to get together to bring these people to justice!
