When this number calls and either you answer or your answering machine answers, there is an odd series of tones. Not a modem or fax sound. When the tones are done, and it is really quick, the caller id info is erased from your machine and your answering machine acts up. Needing to be restarted or reset. Has been calling my home off and on for a few weeks now. Called the phone company and they say they have no record of such kinds of calls. Why am I not surprised.
Has to be up to something. I can't see messing up your caller id and answering machine as a real goal. So what is it up to?
