Scam - currently used by a number of bogus Diabetes Care" companies in south Florida. If you'd like to assist with stopping this type of thing please send details/reports t: [email protected]
It's Alan Thicke, the actor, with a cruise promotion. I made the mistake of answering a survery from a SPAM call that starts off with a ship horn as soon as you answer the phone. Now I get these damn calls all the time.
I have gone to Alan Thickes face book page and vented. If we all do this it might start him to think that telemarketing will hurt not help his stinking actor career.
I mistakenly dialed 800-615-3386 around 6 pm past night, instead of the correct number for Harry & David (which is 866-615-3386) and got connected to the "Caribbean Cruise Line" offering me two free nights on the Grand Bahama Island. Problem is I live in NY and would need to fly to South Florida to take this cruise. Plus who cruises for only 2 days? They tried to pressure me into paying $59 per person "U. S. Government port taxes", and promised their offer would be good for 18 months. I said I do nothing without seeing something in writing, and left my cell phone number.
The number 239-344-8391 called me after 10 pm last night on my cell phone without leaving a voice mail message.
This sounds like a real scam. Beware! I don't have time to tell the Attorney General's office, but maybe someone else will.
i got one too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was rude and asked me personal questions that he didnt need to know then his manager yelled at me and told me to hang up but he did before i could.
