4:20pm on 3/12/14, received call from 239-431-3858, Caller ID showed "Naples FL". Did not answer. They did not leave message on answering machine. I am blocking number.

I just called them back (blocked my number of course using *67 before dialing)! I pretended to be calling for someone named "Jennifer". The guy that answered then says to me......."Thanks for calling us back - This is the Florida Police & Troopers Association and we......"
I promptly hung up.....We used to get calls from this so called "charity" ALL THE TIME....They will absolutely STALK you and bug you for money. Most law enforcement agencies - such as the Florida Highway Patrol, the Broward Sheriff's Office and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office - have no direct relationship with this organizations and don't receive a single dollar from them.
Also found this comment about them: "It's ironic that the very people who are supposed to be protecting us are participating in a scheme to rip us off," said Daniel Borochoff, president of the American Institute of Philanthropy, a charity monitoring group based in Chicago. "If people understood what is going on, people would not support these groups."
Received a call from this number on 3/12/14 at 3:36 pm. Caller ID showed "Naples FL". They didn't leave a message on the answering machine when I didn't pick up. Called the number back and a male voice said, "there is no message at this time I will call back later".
