Received call trying to set up an appointment under a special from yet another "Welcome to Fl with their HVAC companies preying on the elderly." She confirmed the company displayed on caller ID. I asked about telemarketing license she said she had one and the company also. Asked if they were following DNCR procedures, she said they purchase names from a vendor and that the numbers were scrubbed the other day but would not disclose the vendors name. Asked about internal do not call list she said that they did. I stated I was on the DNCR for some time, she said she would put me on their list and advise the company president. She was confused about DNCR requirements and asked if I renewed in the last year and I told her that it wasn't required.
