Wanted social security number

I received a text from (239) 558-2299 on 12/15/2015. The text said it was a Wells Fargo Notice Call, to call the phone number. I called the phone number <(239) 558-2299> and the voice prompt said my credit card balance was going to be decreased, but if I did not want it decreased, then Press 1. I did not Press 1 but instead I went to my bank (Wells Fargo), and the banker I spoke with said it was fraudulent.
