The spoofing is getting creative. This number comes across my caller id as a call from Willis Marilyn. Since I don't know who Willis Marilyn is, I let it go to voice mail. No message left. I call back and I get the old , "this number is no longer in service." As with all my other posts reference telemarketing scum, I NEVER EVER answer my phone to an unrecognized number. If it's legitimate, they will leave a message. At least with 800 notes, we can share information reference these unwanted calls - since it's become the first place I look to see if someone else has received a phone call from the same number I did. Hopefully the phone companies will hasten blocking numbers that are known telemarketers. Couple that and taking a firm stance in not answering the phone to unrecognized callers - telemarketing scum will go out of business.
