Called five times in one week early November from a different number -- but same area code 239 (Florida). Obvious scam -- and I blocked it out. A blocking device or function from your phone company relieves so much aggravation.
THOROUGHBRED RE called stating she was taking a survey on utilities, told her I don't answer questions, I hung up the phone on her and then blocked the number. End of story.
We are a used car dealership. I spoke to a gentleman named "Sergio". He said he was calling with Thoroughbred Research Group on behalf of someone else. He said they're conducting a research survey, and that whoever takes the time to answer their questions will be "well compensated". He said it wouldn't take any longer than five minutes to answer the questions, and they'd pay $100. I declined to answer any questions (I wanted to do some research if this is legitimate or not, but I didn't mention that to them), and so I asked if they'd be willing to call back around the same time tomorrow. He said they would call back. I'm still very suspicious of this though. It sounds very fishy.
