Yes, that is John/Jack. It is a scary proposition to take work from someone online that you have never met. When the number was disclosed to me for house cleaning purposes I looked it up and stumbled across the post from bambi. Lo and behold, a couple of messages later John said that he thought my ad said something about massage therapy, but then he realized that actually it had not, but that if I was interested in that work or knew anyone that was I should let him know. It is weird to ask someone who specifies a trade like housekeeping if they are will to do something completely unrelated like massage therapy when there are plenty of experienced, licensed massage therapists who I'm sure could use customers. Mistaking one person for a massage therapist, okay.... two? Weird. Care.com encourages people to check up on potential employers and employees. Begrudging a woman for taking safety measures before going to work in a strangers home is just craziness. The fact that the names didn't match gave me enough reason not to want to deal with this person even before I was solicited for massage therapy. I am glad to share my experience so that someone else can make an informed decision.
Got text from this number saying got my number off a list of massage therapists and would like a massage lives in Bonita bay . so. His name is jack and I told him who was he looking for he said Niki so told him wrong number.
Care.com is a reputable social services agency that has benefited many of those of us who are in need, be it seniors, health care works, babysitters, care workers, and a host of other professional assisting services and people. For Aimee(this one individual to prays on the public's consumption of falsehoods) to imply otherwise is to create a false image and conveys that one should be concerned or question Care.com's policies or it's members. To create such false images is not only shameful but malicious and could and should be subjected to civil or criminal prosecution. 800Notes is not the forum to hurt well-meaning companies nor is it appropriate to damage the name of it's members. My thought is that legal action should be taken again this Aimee. At the barest minimum Aimee's post should be removed FORTHWITH.
