How can I get my money back! I was also scammed by this company 281-336-0844 Dalton Russell was the name he used and said I would be arrested as well If I did not pay!
I I received a treat call that I was going to be arrested if I don't pay a restitution of 925.00 for a payday loan I made over the internet in 2010.and I was going to be arrested if I don't pay it now for fraud. He use a scary tactic . He said he is An attorney that works for the department of fraud for tha state of California. I need advice . His number is 281-336-0844 . He didn't provide any information to me about the company he was represented. Please help!
I received the same call today and unfortunately I fell for the scam!! Now I'm filing a claim with my credit card company for an unauthorized transaction. Hope no one else falls for this.
I also received calls from him last week, around 8/15 saying he was a fraud attorney for the state of Missouri and I needed to have my attorney contact him regarding some fraud charges. I've contacted my attorney and he's advised me that he cannot find him in the attorney database and that the case number he gave me isn't even a valid case number for the state of Missouri. He advised me not to speak to him or send him any money. If they do file charges, we'll act accordingly, but so far, nothing has been filed.
This call came in today at one of my business locations for one of my employees. She was not there to take the call, so the guy left a message he was an attorney named Dan Cadell and that my employee needed to call him today in order to clear up a case he was working on. He was adamant that time was of the essence and she needed to call in today....He even gave a ficticious Texas court case number.
When I gave the info to the employee, we then looked up the phone number on the internet...and found this site and the scam info posted by others.....no doubt they put the time pressure on their victim to get them to pay off fast
Please,,,if you have received a similar type of call, please post a blog and report to the site above...the more of us that do this, the better the chance of this thug(s) be stopped....
I just received this call today and I am currently sitting on hold after I told him I believed I was being scammed. This Guy is trying to scam me out of money. SMH
