This guy called me saying I agreed to donate $275 to the Chief of Police Association and was wondering why I hadn't sent my payment in yet. I never did any such thing. When I asked him to prove to me that I made this promise he hung up.
"David Gorham" said the owner agreed in April to put an ad in the Narcotics Officer magazine. Then he said he talked with him on June 10 and the owner said he would check with the girl who writes the checks. The owner has not spoken to him. As a matter of fact this caller talked to me the last time he called. I just took the message and hung up. Is this a scam?
Dee, i had dou8ts to until i recieved and issue of the magazine, THEN I remembered the promise and commitment I made to the magazine...it wasnt until I see my advertisement in his publication that I fully trusted this magazine.
