This guy "James Cooper" called and said he was a lawyer and was going to sue me in small claims court. I looked up the # and name he is not or is even smart enough to know about the laws in Texas. He works for a debit collection place and he is a smart mouth punk! State law states that a debit collect company can't take you to small claims. What a [***]. I found there office its at 505 North Sam Houston East if any one wants to go see him face to face.
I keep getting a call from 281-447-9765 (they also have another number 281-447-9779) a Ms. Ann Kerr, she has called my place of business for the past 3 days at least 4-8 times per day even after I told her not to call back at my office on the first day. You can send a CEASE & DESIST letter which you can easily find samples on the internet by using a search web site. Jay is right, the address is: 505 North Sam Houston Parkway East, Suite 120, Houston, TX 77060 if anyone needs to send them a letter. BE SURE THAT YOU SEND IT CERTIFIED MAIL WITH A RETURN RECEIPT!!!! If they are harrassing you as they are me, you can also report them to your local Sheriff's department. Oh, also they refused to give me their Name (business and person calling), a case or account number, just that they expected me to pay some $300 something over the phone immediately. I've already sent the letter and contacted my lawyer, if I do have any outstanding debts, I certianly do not mind paying them, but to the company to whom it is owed, not any Blow-Joe who could do anything with my money, cc info, or however else I could have made a payment to them.
I got a text message from the number "129" saying "Please Call 281-447-9765" Thas it. I decided not to call and find out because i think it might be oen of those scam phone numbers. Anyoene lse get something like this?
