I recently received a call from 1-281-845-7297: caller ID'd as ALARMCOMP. The Area Code identified as a landline in the Fresno, TX area. The voice sounded rather reproduced but acted congenial [trying to be interactive]. I asked if I was speaking to a robotic device to which the response was that it was a real person. Not convinced I asked the day of the week.... well, the 'real person' said to repeat the question [hmmmm.. what person doesn't understand what 'day-of-the-week' means]. I am not saying this is a scam, but I am saying it is an attempt to get into you home/pocked book under false pretenses. Beware, the there is a new bottom feeding tactic on the loose.
