Scamming has become a Global Theft Problem. More scammers are out there scamming than law enforcement officers working. Anyway, scammers from Rehoboth, DE called me. And I don't want to deal with anymore so I just blocked the number and done deal.
they told me that they would lower my credit card interest to 6.9. So I asked which one, they replied mc,visa etc. so I asked which company they said capital one and another popular name. so I asked where did you get my number from and they hung up. This is obviously a scam and they did not identify themselves.
I recvd a call from this same # saying they could lower my credit card interest rate to 6.9%. When a live operator came on they were mumbling & I couldn't understand them. They hung up on me when I kept asking them to repeat what they were saying. I called the # back & a generic greeting answered without a company name & asked if I'd like to be placed on the do not call list under the # I called on press #1, I did. This has got to be a scam bcs my husband & I haven't used credit cards in over 2 yrs now.
