Receiving several calls a week. Annoying and when press 1 no one ever comes on the line. I called the number and I get a fast busy. They are a pain and I want the calls stopped!
By pressing a number, it shows them they have an active phone number--don't push anything, just hang up! Every time I get a call, I save it to my phonebook as 'spam' and when they call again from that number, just don't answer. By not answering or pushing any buttons when they do call, it has greatly reduced the amount of calls I've been getting! Got this tip when I contacted someone from the Do Not Call organization.
