My dad and I each received a call from this number last week asking for my grandmother who died 13 years ago. The number they gave to call back was: 888-342-0623- Vanderbuilt & Associates.
They give a case number, too.
Some lawyer's office looking for someone named Andres about a 'pending civil matter.' My guess--this law office, acting as a collection agency, bought some old CC debt and is calling people to scare or harass them into paying up outside of statute of limitations. I don't have any sympathy for either side in these arrangements--deadbeats vs. vultures!--but I do wish I would stop getting random calls from different collections agencies looking for completely different people, none of whom I have ever heard of. Where did they get my number and why do they think I know these people? I have no idea.
I get a call from this number about once a day, its been calling for about 2 weeks now. I called the 888-342-0623 number and told them that they have the wrong phone number. I am not Monique Johnson and I do not know her. She told me she doesnt do the calling but that she would make sure they stop calling me. Lets hope it worked!
This is one of the strangest things that have happened phone wise anyway. I get a call, no one says anything, so I call back to find out what do you want!! The number is always busy. What in the heck kind of a person or company with any kind of respect does that?????????????????
