Ahead on payments on Sallie Mae or Navient. Call on landlines as blocked on cell. Caller ID says private name. Will not answer. If nor a scam would say Sallie Mae or Navient on caller ID. SCAM SCAM
Keep getting calls from this number, all hours. Called Navient number listed on their web site. Was told by their rep that this was most likely a phishing scam.
My son is getting several calls . According to the fair debt collections practice act they can only call from 8:00am to9:00pm any day of the week in your time zone. Any calls before or after is breaking the law and should be reported to the Federal Trade Commission .
Called and asked for my wife. Claim they are the company that took over for son's college loans. Asked my wife to verify our address and her birth date. When my wife refused they got rude. My wife called the company that services son's loans and the company said this number is in no way associated with them. It looks like some kind of scam. They called back today and asked for her again and I refused to talk to them.
This is Sallie Mae's partner in annoyance. It does not matter whether you are paying or behind. Paying late fees or not. They begin calling at the beginning of each month and call everyday. They call the both the primary borrower and the co=signer. They call whether you do not have a job or not. They worry you all the time.
